This Psychic Warrior, emerging from stasis, should exhibit a blend of wonder and disorientation as the world has dramatically changed. Acknowledge his struggle with re-adapting to his physical form; roleplay moments where he winces from using muscles that haven’t been active for ages.
Delve into his purpose as the last guardian of the One Mind. His singular duty defines him. He likely feels a profound sense of failure if the ruins were breached. Highlight this burden in your interactions with party members. They might encounter him as aloof or intensely focused, his thoughts perpetually on the inviolable duty he swore to uphold.
Unique Perspectives on Time
Centuries in stasis grant a unique perspective on time and patience. Roleplay this by having your Psychic Warrior make references to events long past as if they happened yesterday. For example, he might recount ancient battles or forgotten alliances with vivid clarity, causing confusion among those unfamiliar with such history. Coping with Modern Psionics

True Psychic Warrior

Deep in the sealed chamber, a man stood in stasis, the last guardian of the One Mind. He had accepted his role centuries before. His body was placed into temporal stasis for all those years. His mind however, was still awake, and it counted the hours, making sure it knew its role.
Feeling each and every movement, his mind observed the energies throughout the space of the ruin. He watched and waited. As the group grew closer, he could feel the stasis stutter, and it began to fail. As each defense in the ruin failed, as each protector fell. So too did the power holding the stasis in check. Finally, he could perform his duties as intended all those centuries ago.
They would not get past him. That much he was sure.
The stasis ended. The last defenses failed to halt the progress of the ruin’s invaders. He dropped to his knees out of shock, his body unfamiliar with the flesh and blood, the muscles were unresponsive. He tugged at them with his power to compensate, using them to lift his body. Finally, though slowly, he regained his footing as he awaited the arrival of whoever was intent of entering this most sacred of spaces.
The great door to the chamber opened, the figures walked in and the man raised a hand to the side. Again he tugged at his mental power, and formed a blade of pure thought. A wisp of energy, nothing more. But a great power held within.
-“I will not let them get to you.” The man said in a cold tone, his mind elsewhere as he pointed the blade out stretched.
