Musketeer
The young man was exhausted, frustrated, and wet from the convenient downpour that had extinguished the house fire. He had defeated the arsonist, but he self-immolated rather than divulge the identity of his patron.
He let out a sigh. Well, he was alive at least. That had to count for something.
–Look at my little brother, so anguished because you were unable to truly win this battle.
The young man jumped. He turned and from the shadow came his older brother, who, as the heir of the family, studied magic. Or at least, was supposed to, but he was usually too preoccupied putting his nose in the underworld’s business.
–No. I am frustrated at his lack of chivalry. Doesn’t anyone respect the rules of duel anymore?
His brother shrugged as he conjured a small flame to light the cigarette he was rolling, away from the downpour.
–Oh, not too many still have that archaic mentality nowadays, dear brother.
Not that it being a bad thing mind you, he added rapidly as he saw his brother’s face get angrier. It’s just that time changes and people don’t have your heart to keep these ideals.
–Why are YOU here anyway? Investigating the arson too?
The young man looked at his brother, who suddenly took a more concerned glare.
–In a way, I suppose. Come, I have two women I’d like to introduce you, and perhaps an intrigue worth your blade young brother…

Goal
Swashbuckler tank! You are still extraordinarily agile and capable of zigzagging the battlefield, but you can also make sure your enemies stay planted right next to you, where you can bring them the hurting. The fact that you can nullify power attacks means suddenly that barbarians and other fighters must be much more careful if they want to hit you at all.
