Blood Angel of the Crypt

Another urban legend of the Capital talks about the Blood Angel of the Crypt.

She’s a woman clad in shadows, a blood sigil halo encircling her head.

Her sole purpose? Protecting the graveyard against graverobbers.

They say she was once a mortal who died of grief when her child was unmade from reality.

It’s said that it was both by accident and from excessively powerful magic.

The rumors also say that she now makes use of the same magic to unmake those who would violate the sanctity of the resting dead…

Goal

I wanted to make Truespeak work, and the Prestige Class Bereft is the best way to abuse that skill. It has the syllable of unmaking, and mixing in Acolyte of the Ego’s ability that can self buff via Cadences allows some fun shenanigans.

We do, of course, need to aim at as high as possible skill check Truespeak DCs. However you still do have most of your skill slots open to add whichever skills that support the playstyle you want, be it stealth, iaijutsu, or the like.

Also, being a Shadow Illumian undead gives you a “shadow undead angel” feel. This is on account of your floating sigils of blood. Finally, with Lifesense you are a walking radar against the living.
