Final Thoughts on the Build

So, we focus our build as a Charisma based Thrower. Except that’s just one of our tools in our back pocket. We have some surprisingly great divination spells to prepare and scout areas well before we ever step foot there, we can get great intel rapidly and try to get the Spirit we need for the right job.

Need more resilience? Pick the Guardian or Hierophant Spirit. Need more damage? Go for Champion. A set of specific spells are needed and the Wizard actually doesn’t know them? Go for Archmage. With great intel gathering you can be as batman[1]-like to a situation as you need.

1. Vigilante – Base Vigilante – Pathfinder 1E ( batman )

The Base Vigilante

The two main characters I immediately think of when I hear Vigilante are either Zorro or
Batman. Two characters that appear out of nowhere, defeat the villains and retreat back into the
shadows, with a high society and above reproach social guise in the form of Bruce Wayne or
Don Diego De La Vega. This is the general idea we will go for with this build, trying to create the
quintessential Vigilante.

Levels

Vigilante 20

Race

We are two hundred percent going for Human for this build. We will put that floating +2 in
Dexterity.

Ability Scores

Put everything in Dexterity.

15Point-Buy

Str 10/Dex 16/Con 14/Int 10/Wis 10/Cha 14

20Point-Buy

Traits

Reactionary for we always need to be on our toes, the second one is really up to you actually for
this build.

Favored Class Bonus

We have plenty of skill points already, so in HP it is.

Skills

This is your oyster. Perception, Acrobatics, Stealth, Sense Motive, Disguise, Diplomacy, Bluff,
pick your poison here.

Vigilante Specialization

We will be a Stalker Vigilante for this build.

Feats by Level

1-Weapon Finesse
Human Bonus-Improved Initiative
3-Piranha Strike
5-Two-Weapons Fighting
7-Weapon Focus(Kukri)
9-Improved Two Weapons Fighting
11-Improved Critical(Kukri)
13-Dirty Fighting
15-Improved Trip
17-Improved Dirty Tricks
19-Greater Two Weapons Fighting
You are a fast combattant, between Weapon Finesse and Piranha Strike, your damage is fairly
decent, doubly so with the Hidden Strike ability, and with the Two Weapons Fighting and the
Improved Critical feats, you can attack up to six times per round with a crit range of 15-20 which
is really, really good.

Social Talents by Level

1-Renown
3-Celebrity Discounts
5-Celebrity Perks
7-Great Renown
9-Triumphant Return
11-Incredible Renown
13-Instant Recognition
15-Quick Change
17-Immediate Change
19-Loyal Aid

Your social identity is of great renown, you are a local celebrity, beloved by the people and you
get many forms of perks, like discounts, fan giving you intel or even eating and staying at Inns
for free, heck, you can straight up avoid paying taxes with this which by default makes you the
strongest character in Pathfinder. Even that damned Master Summoner can’t stand up to the
IRS but you damned can.

Vigilante Talents by Level

2-Armor Skin
4-Perfect Fall
6-Blind Spot
8-Hide in Plain Sight
10-Mighty Ambush
12-Pull into the Shadows14-Shadow’s Sight
16-Rooftop Infiltrator
18-Silent Dispatch
20-Stalker Sense

You can stealth even against creatures with Tremorsense, Blindsight and the like. There isn’t
another class who can even attempt this as is without using some form of magic, and you can
do this starting level 6 which is stupid early. Plus you get Hide in Plain Sight so you can stealth
even when directly observed, you get climb speed, can do a superhero landing and even when
fighting your attacks are muffled to the point that creatures need to make perception checks to
notice your fight. Yeah, you are making the Rogue jelly with this. Plus medium armor doesn’t
reduce your most important skill checks such as Stealth and Acrobatics.

Equipment

Get yourself a pair of Kukris, a good Medium Armor and a Disguise Kit. Make sure to get spares
for your different identities. Get yourself a rapier or something for your social identity and noble
clothes.

Final Thoughts on the Build

Nobleman by day, dangerous vigilante at night who uses a pair of kukris to combat evildoers
and corrupted folk. You excel both in social and in scouting to the point of being better at it than
a bard or a rogue respectively, and that’s before using Magic Items to boost either. You also are
no slouch in combat, capable of dispatching enemies ridiculously fast from the shadows with
your Hidden Strike ability and even in regular combat you can still fulfill the rogue’s job of
destroying targets rapidly with very high damage.
